Economical, lightweight, single-use foam plugs deliver a powerful noise reduction rating (NRR) of 33. Compress a plug between the finger and thumb for easy insertion into the ear canal, and the bell-shaped foam expands to fit your individual ear size for a comfortable fit. Red, white and blue colors stand out at the range.

These 33db plugs are fantastic. I have a huge box of orange colored ones, but they are the same Howard Leight plugs. Like all foam ear plugs, they take about 10 to 15 seconds to expand, but if you push them all the way in your ear canal they offer amazing hearing protection. I shoot at an indoor range often right next to people sighting in their deer rifles and these plugs protect my ears better than any other plug i've tried. For the money, you can't get any better than these.

Quality Budget Earplugs (13.3.2017)

I ordered a box of these to accompany a set of Howard Leight slimline earmuffs to use together for indoor shooting. For the price tag, I was expecting a 'ho-hum' set of earplugs that did their job, but I was pleasantly surprised to find they're worth way more than their price tag. These alone dampen a lot of sound, not to mention the material is nice and soft so they're comfortable to wear all day. It also includes a small plastic case for two earplugs to fit inside of so you don't have to carry the entire box around or have two loose ones in your pocket, getting covered in lint and whatnot. My only gripe is that the 'red' pigment could be a little more on the red side as it looks more like pink, but all in all, I'd happily buy more.
