Originally designed for metal workers and mechanics to remove stuck bolts, these heavy-duty extractors bite into the metal for extra traction so you can apply the force needed to remove a choke that refuses to budge with ordinary tools. Available for 12 and 20 gauge. Complete instructions included. Caution: muzzle damage can result if used incorrectly.
SPECS: Tool steel, black oxide finish. 12 Gauge – 4 7⁄8" length, gripping surface tapers from 9⁄16" to 2 7⁄32". 20 Gauge – 4½" length, gripping surface tapers from ½" to 9⁄16".
Alun perin metallityöntekijöille ja mekaanikoille suunniteltu juuttuneiden pulttien irrottamiseen, nämä raskaan sarjan uuttimet pureutuvat metalliin tarjoten lisäpitoa, jotta voit käyttää tarvittavaa voimaa irrottaaksesi supistajan, joka ei suostu liikahtamaan tavallisilla työkaluilla. Saatavilla 12 ja 20 kaliiperiin. Mukana tulee täydelliset ohjeet. Varoitus: virheellinen käyttö voi aiheuttaa vahinkoa piipun suulle.
TEKNISET TIEDOT: Työkaluteräs, musta oksidipinta. 12-kaliiperi – pituus 4 7⁄8 tuumaa, tarttumapinta kapenee koosta 9⁄16 tuumaa kokoon 2 7⁄32 tuumaa. 20-kaliiperi – pituus 4½ tuumaa, tarttumapinta kapenee koosta ½ tuumaa kokoon 9⁄16 tuumaa.

Worked well(2.4.2014)
I had an inventor DS choke tube stuck in an A5 thats about a year old. Tried everything to get the choke out to the point where wrenches wore the notches on the tube.
I bought this tool as a hail mary before relenting and going to a gunsmith. It took a couple tries and tapping the tool in harder, but with a crescent wrench and a couple sharp raps with a hammer to the tool was finally able to get the tube out. No damage to barrel, choke was not any more messed than before, junking it though.
You might have drive the tool in a little harder than you think.
Good price shipping was good, fedex is always good.
Didn't work(12.8.2014)
I tried to remove a stuck choke tube from a Bennelli shotgun with no luck at all. I had previously talked with a Brownell's consultant and was told to follow the written instructions that came with the tool. I did that to the letter. The cutting edges of the tool were softer than the choke tube metal and merely broke away as I tried to twist the tool.
I finally had to try another method of removal which I found on Youtube. I used JB Weld to glue in a deep well socket that was about 1/8 of an inch smaller in diameter than the choke tube. After letting it set up for 24 hours I used a ratchet to remove the socket which bonded to the choke tube.
I would return the tool to Brownells except that postage would cost as much as the tool.
