Made from fiberglass-filled polymer that never changes dimensions due to changes in weather or humidity and, it's practically indestructible. Little or no fitting required for installation. SKS, one-piece stock with separate handguard, features high cheekpiece and zero drop at comb for increased eye relief with receiver mounted scopes; spacers give up to 1" adjustment to length of pull. SKS is a one-piece stocks and come with 1" sling swivels.

Great, way better than the ATI version 14.12.2014
Perfect drop-in fit for my russian sks, didn't need the shim included (wouldn't be able to set the trigger group with it...) Looks sturdier than the ati and tapco offerings in their various configurations, the plastic is more "rubbery" like. The only thing that bothered me is that you must take out the bayonet or cut the point (and a channel in the stock) in order to clear the stupid swivel stud that they have installed on the stock.. SKS already has a sling attachment on the barrel... pic rails on both sides of the end of the stock would have been nice but overall good choice for your plinking needs. And it looks awesome with a promag 40 rounds mag...

Superb fit for my 59 Chinese SKS. Unlike the ATI version you can dissasemble your SKS without removing the reciever from the stock. That was the biggest selling point about this stock. It fits perfect for table plinking at the range and way lighter than the wood stock. The adjustable buttstock is another plus.

This a great stock that I would highly recommend to all SKS rifle owners,fit perfect in my Russian SKS ,comes with gas tube take down pin and rear shim if needed and instructions too,All of these things are plus.I wish more gun up grades were this easy,great product !!!,thanks.

Drop-in fit on SKS rifles of Russian manufacture. Nice balance, good construction. Choate goes above and beyond all others in final function / appearance. Well made, decent length of pull. included spacers for L.O.P. with a rubber buttplate. Comfortable too use, as well.
