Nicely done!! (4.11.2009)

Used for 3 gun in a mossy 930 spx. Very nice and slick. Slides like butter in the mag tube. Easy for me and the R.O. to get a quick visual that your clear. A tactile dimple would be nice to feel that your empty.

Drops right in, quick and easy. No tools required unless you got something screwed in really tight. It is a like a burnt orange color. I'd prefer it to be brighter for better visibility.

This follower is extremely light. It has some play inside the magazine tube but maybe that will not affect performance. I'll update the review after using it for a while to comment on durability.

Well Made -- Works Great (4.5.2012)

Installed one in a Mossy 500 and another in a 590A1. Install was a snap. I did not bother reinstalling the magazine spring retainer clip. The screw on magazine cap retains the spring just fine and leaving the retainer clip out makes it quick and easy to swab the magazine tube out. Function remains fully reliable. The red follower is easily visible, making checking for an empty magazine more reliable.

The only drawback is these are a little pricey.

Bought for my Mossberg 590 A1 that had some feeding problems. The Brownells follower and a Wolff #17905 Mossberg 590 9 Shot XP Magazine Spring and now my shotgun feeds 100% of the time.

This is a great follower. Put it in my Mossberg 590. Super easy installation. Now I can visually see when the magazine tube is empty. Previous follower had poor visibility.

Just a little more TLC needed (26.7.2014)

Follower is nicely designed. Machining was rough and required a full polish to allow it to operate smoothly as intended, scratched mag tube. Maybe mine was was made on a Friday at 4:45PM, or a step was skipped, who knows...

After an hour with a felt wheel, dremmel and some polishing compound it was silky smooth and looks awesome. Not a big deal but it would save some time to put a little extra love on after the CNC.
